Asian Federation for Medicinal Chemistry (AFMC) was founded on May 11, 1992, with the aim of establishing and promoting international cooperation for the development of pharmaceutical societies in Asia in collaboration with the European Union for Pharmaceutical Chemistry (EFMC) and the American Chemical Society Division of Medicinal Chemistry (ACS MEDCHEM).
